Stormwater Runoff The Planets Unwitting Enemy
Stormwater runoff continues to pose a threat to the planet's environment, hurting humans, animals, and plants in the process. With the amount of pollution put into streets and sidewalks, stormwater runoff has an easy time finding an excess of oils, grease, trash, and more to drag with them down into storm drains. With stormwater runoff usually going untreated, all of these harmful toxins and trash find their way into natural water channels and waterways, eventually going into our drinking supplies as well as natural bodies of water. With this problem often going unnoticed, several effective means of prevention have been employed to help in this issue. Storm drain filters are among the most effective and manageable means of preventing stormwater runoff pollution by filtering it. This method, along with several others is working hard to prevent the tragic consequences that stormwater runoff pollution has on our environment.
